الØرباء Øيوان بيوض من الزواØÙØŒ تتواجد ÙÙŠ كل أنØاء العالم تقريبا، وتعيش ÙÙŠ الشقوق. الØرباء Øيوان Ù…Ùترس يستطيع تقريبا أكل أي شي يمكن ان يدخل Ùمه، من الØشرات إلى الزواØ٠إلى القوارض الصغيرة. الØرباء ÙŠÙضل شرب الماء الجاري، ولا يأكل النباتات إلا ÙÙŠ Øال ان الماء قل ÙÙŠ جسمه ولم يجد مصدرا للماء. تصطاد الØرباء غذائها من الØشرات عن طريق إخراج لسانها بسرعة باتجاه الØشرة التي تريد اصطيادها، ثم تسØب بلسانها الØشرة التي التصقت به وتقرضها ثم تبتلعها. تغير الØرباء لونها ضمن عوامل عدة منها لون المØيط الخارجي والاضاءة (اتجاه أشعة الشمس). يعيش ÙÙŠ الغابات المØ! ·ÙŠØ±Ù‡ عموما، وهو Øيوان انطوائي لا ÙŠØب العيش مع Øربائات أخرى. يعتبر الØرباء ÙÙŠ بعض الأماكن Øيوانا أليÙا (لكن تصعب العناية به). المزيد بالإنجليزية Chameleons are a distinctive and highly specialized clade of lizards.
